This dress was inspired by the romance of Venice, Italy. The horizontal black and white stripes in the top evoke the look of the gondoliers as they ply their way along the canals.

My inspiration for this dress is the pagodas one finds throughout my home country of Laos.The peplum or ruffles around the waist remind me of the arches that support these tall buildings. This dress is for the woman who wishes to, and can project a most statuesque image.

This gown was inspired by the classic romantic movies of the 1950's and early 60's when the stars jetted off to exotic locales. People were over the war, wanted to get out a bit more and were starting to try more daring things. The jet age brought the exotic tropics of the Caribbean and South America to the States as evoked by this dress.
